back to ... questions and answers
THIS MADE ME SEE RED
JUDGE ROBERT REDLICH GUILTY of allowing
a convicted rapist to appeal because of
ISLAMIC CULTURAL DIFFERENCES.
The rapist, the rapist's lawyer argued,
didn't fully understand things such as,
that women are fully human.
Ok, so the lawyer was being paid
to say stuff like that.
But ROBERT REDLICH
of the AUSTRALIAN COURT OF APPEALS,
ACCEPTED THE ARGUMENT
AND IS ALLOWING AN APPEAL.
It sounds like time to put
ROBERT REDLICH ON TRIAL,
for a blatant miscarriage of justice.
Rape is rape - against the law.
Here is the post on Facebook.
If you feel like it, please SHARE
Before making this post,
I had seen, prominently displayed,
a photo of one of the rape victims.
I had even seen a photo of the convicted rapist.
It was hard to find a photo of the - to me, anyway -
MOST GUILTY PERSON, JUDGE ROBERT REDLICH,
WHO BETRAYED WHAT I KNOW OF WESTERN VALUES
AND THE LAW.
RAPE IS RAPE - AGAINST THE LAW. END.
So this is the truth of the week.
April 9, 2013.
From news items from:
April 1st and April 3rd, 2013.

Different things are trigger points for different people. So much is happening in the world. So much need. So much that needs attending.
Sometimes it's just that we have an extra moment. Sometimes it's something in us. Political correctness - or rather, endangering the safety of women, acting against my right to freedom of expression, stuff like that- those are triggers for me.
I think of Cassandra. The danger wasn't the Greeks. It was the Trojans who let the so-called Trojan horse - the wooden horse filled with Greek soldiers - into her city. It was the Trojans who wouldn't listen. It was also, in her case, a crappy god (Apollo) who had cursed her because she had refused his sexual advances.
For me the politically correct are like the Trojans - the heart of the problem. I've heard the referred to as evil. I tend to see them more as scared and also wilfully blind - like the Trojans who didn't want to hear.
Have they been cursed? And if so, by whom?
Sorry, I'm just one person doing what I can. I don't have the answers.
Now back to triggers. These include a lot of the truth about Islam, facts about Islam. Those often set me off - because of the deadness (and deafness) of many in the West to these facts and truths.
People run for flu shots by the millions - shots that have been shown to be ineffective. But somehow millions upon millions have been inoculated
against seeing real danger, and therefore don't act against it.
So truths of the week
will sometimes be on those truths.
Truth of the week? Whatever strikes me that week. Political correctness. Political incorrectness. Facts about the West. Actions one can take. Dangers in Islamic countries. Horrors in Islamic countries - just now a terrified Christian woman raped in broad daylight in Egypt, many witnesses, no protection from anyone.
This time it's a fact about someone perhaps politically correct - anyway, ready to take into account Islamic cultural factors as a reason for appealing a rape conviction.
The Iron Lady, Margaret Thatcher, has just died. A strong woman. I don't see her accepting these arguments for a moment.
More on the truths of the week. I'm often most drawn to truths where we could do something.
When I look at the horrors coming from the so-called Arab Spring, the most I can think of doing is saying, I told you so, to the people who were optimistic about it. At least at the moment, I don't feel I can do anything.
It's even very hard to know what to do about all the forces against freedom of speech, etc, in the West, often related to facts about Islam and truth about Islam and Islamic beliefs and Islamic history.
I'm not facing Sleeping Beauty, "Wake up, darling, there's danger coming."
This is my world.
Who might be another Iron Lady - or Iron Gent?
Goal: maybe, whoever we are, we can get our freedoms more strongly entrenched, and the dangers to it eliminated.
